Asa: Beautiful Imperfection

I received the following email from my brother:

I loved her voice on first listen, which wasn't surprising considering my brother has yet to send me something that isn't spectacular. This Nigerian native has a soulful voice that reminds me of Duffy and Adele. She is heart wrenching, singable, fun, soulful.  Asa is a veteran of SXSW, playing back in 2009, and I'm wondering how I have missed her until now. Her new album, Beautiful Imperfection, was just released back in September. I concur with Max. She is excellent!
