Ryan Gosling at Fun Fun Fun Fest! Oh, and the music is fantastic, too.

I was sitting at a picnic table back stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest, enjoying the sun and writing up my thoughts on the bands I had just seen when I look up to find that Ryan Gosling is filming not 10 feet away from me. I had read that he was added to Terrence Malik's mysterious new project, Lawless, which also found Christian Bale filming around ACL in a similar fashion back in October. I sat, pretending to still write, but mostly watching Ryan chat with a band in front of the camera. I would spot him all day long at the various stages. In fact, I would, at one point, give up my stage side viewing of Big Freedia and all of her ass shaking glory so that Ryan could have my spot! You're welcome, Ryan.

But Ryan Gosling and his perfect hair aside, the music of FFFFest has been great. I will be posting pictures and write ups after the weekend wraps up. In the meantime, be sure to check out Accidental Music's twitter @accmusicblog for updates and photos throughout the weekend.

Update: Ryan has been following me all weekend. Probs stalking me, I'm sure. What I've noticed (besides the thrill of him being here quickly wearing off) is that his hair us freakishly perfect. Considering the wind, dust, and general festival setting there can only be one of three explanations. 1. He uses some fancy famous people hair product made from the sweat of a rare jungle cat. 2. He is a hologram and Ryan Gosling is not even here. 3. Terrance Malik is a wizard because he is the only one I've seen touch his hair.

Update 2: Ryan just took my picture with his iphone. Probably one of the most random events of the weekend.
