I have tried in my Accidental Christmas series to stay away from the more mainstream Christmas tunes, but this might be my absolute favorite carol/mashup/arrangement, so it must be shared! God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and We Three Kings have always been my favorite Advent carols. I grew up singing them in church choirs and playing them endlessly on my piano. I love the way they both have haunting qualities and The Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan mash them together so perfectly! Enjoy!
This is been my favorite Christmas song since it came out when I was about 12 : ) My dad would play it every Christmas as we decorated the tree and had eggnog and cookies. It wasn't until I was about 18 that I started listening to it on any other day of the year. At first I thought it would ruin it, but nothing could ever ruin this song for me <3
