A while back, Old Crow Medicine Show posted on their website, "Old Crow Medicine Show is on hiatus as we seek health and wellness over the coming months. Thank you for your continued love and support." It was the kind of disheartening message that lead me to believe that they must be breaking up, or that it would end up being years before I heard from them again instead of the "coming months" that they alluded to.
But they're back and bringing a new album with them! Carry Me Back is set to be released on July 17th and they will spend the summer touring all over the US. I have my fingers crossed that they'll make an appearance at ACL this year, especially since they had to back out last year.
